Greek language

Every year, the Greek language exams are held at the examination center of the Nine-Year School “Pnoi Agapis” in Gjirokastra. The students of our school who wish to do so participate in these exams, after they are properly prepared with the guidance of the experienced teachers of our school and with the use of special books published by the Greek Language Center of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Obtaining the B2 certificate of Greek language is considered important, as it paves the way for students of Albanian origin to be admitted to Greek universities and enriches the CV of all our students, since it is a formal qualification in any assessment with points.

It is worth noting that in our school, in addition to Greek language lessons, our students are also given the opportunity to join the special free preparation section outside school hours under the guidance of Ms. Aglaia Rizou, with tutoring classes that take place either at our school or in the city of Agioi Saranda for the convenience of students during the afternoon hours.

Traditional dancing

At almost every celebration at our school, the traditional dances steal the show and make us applaud to their rhythm. The appropriate costumes and the harmony in the dancers’ movements produce a wonderful audiovisual effect every time. Enjoy it!

Theater

Without any exaggeration, everyone is waiting for her next performance. Our theater group, during the school year, presents many traditional, religious, social and comedic performances. The musical score, as well as the rich sets and costumes perfectly frame the stage presence of our student actors and the result is amazing.

Choir

The highlight of our school is the choir. It has over a hundred students. It participates in all the celebrations held by the college. The range of songs it presents is particularly wide. Religious, traditional and artistic songs make up its repertoire. It is worth listening to it and becoming a member!

Robotics

In recent years, our school has not only participated, but also distinguished itself in the Panhellenic Robotics competitions held in Thessaloniki. The goal of the Robotics team is to have fun while learning a) To conduct research on an original topic, b) To think and ultimately produce solutions to existing problems and c) To program the robot to perform various tasks – missions. We learn to cooperate and compete, so that we ultimately become better each time.

Lending Library

In recent years, a rich lending library has been operating at our school. Students have the opportunity to choose, borrow and read books from a very rich collection (literary, scientific, religious, etc.). If, as they say, “a good book takes you on a journey”, then the children at our school can take many beautiful trips…

Charity

The charitable activities of our school are quite rich. During the festive periods (Christmas and Easter) and not only, charitable bazaars and fundraisers are organized for teachers and students that aim to offer help and relief to many of our fellow citizens and needy families. These actions fill our souls with joy, peace and tranquility.

Environmental Εducation

We learn about the environment, we learn about nature, we learn about the world we live in. All of this is taught through the many activities organized in collaboration with environmental centers. Students acquire environmental awareness and comprehensive education through the many and very interesting – interactive exercises.

Educational Tours – Conferences, Seminars

The Counseling and Career Guidance Center, the many European educational programs (INCLUDU and Universities4EU) as well as the frequent educational lectures (e.g. first aid, learning disabilities) are some of the many opportunities that students have for education and training. These opportunities are not lacking for teachers either. Seminars, conferences, lectures by university professors aim to in-depth consolidation and understanding of critical issues that teachers are faced with every day.

Student Competitions – Olympiads

The participation of our school’s students in Olympiads that are held from time to time has now become an institution. Olympiads and mathematics competitions such as the Kangaroo Olympiad, as well as the Greek Language Olympiad are just some of the opportunities that our students have to participate and excel.

Sports

School and sports go together! For this reason, Breath of Love College holds many friendly games with other schools in the area every year. The football, basketball and volleyball teams compete hard, but always in a sporting and honest manner. They usually win, but when they lose, they acknowledge it and congratulate the opponent…
